VapourMutts – Terms of Service

By commissioning, purchasing, or otherwise engaging with VapourMutts (“VapourMutts,” “I,” “me”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms of Service. These terms apply to all commissions, artwork, fursuits, and character designs unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

1. Eligibility & General Conduct

You must be 18 years or older to commission VapourMutts. Or 16 years or older with explicit parental consent.
VapourMutts reserves the right to refuse or terminate service at my discretion for any lawful reason, including but not limited to:
- Rude, aggressive, or demanding behaviour
- Late or missed payments
- Prolonged lack of communication
- Racism, homophobia, or other discriminatory behaviour
- Sexual harassment or inappropriate behaviour toward me
- Zoophilic or pedophilic content or behaviour

Violation of these terms may result in cancellation without refund.

2. Quotes & Commission Process

Fursuit quotes are free only when the quote form is open.
All quotes must be submitted through the official Google Form. Quotes requested through other means will not be accepted.
Submitting a quote does not guarantee a commission slot.
Fullsuits require a clear, two-sided reference sheet.
All references must be clear, unshaded, and 100% owned by the customer.
AI-generated references are not accepted.

Turnaround times are estimates only and may change due to workload, health, supply availability, or unforeseen circumstances. Customers will be notified of significant delays.

3. Payments & Pricing

VapourMutts accepts payment via PayPal, E-Transfer, Square card reader (if present), Etsy, and Gumroad, where applicable.
Etsy and Gumroad payments are not suitable for fursuit commissions.
All prices are listed in USD. You are responsible for currency conversion.
Prices do not include shipping.
VapourMutts accepts fursuit payment plans with a 35% non-refundable down payment.

4. Refunds, Cancellations & Chargebacks

All commissions are custom-made to order. By submitting payment, you acknowledge that the work is a custom service and waive your right to a refund once the project has started.

A project is considered “started” once materials have been purchased, work has begun, or progress has been made beyond initial planning.

Late payments may result in postponed completion, delayed shipping, or cancellation of the commission.
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting VapourMutts may result in immediate termination of the commission and refusal of future service.
Work will cease during any active payment dispute.

5. Design Changes & Progress Updates

Design changes requested after materials have been purchased may incur an additional fee ranging from $20–$400, depending on the scope of the change.
Progress photos will be sent occasionally.
Minor changes may be requested during the process; large or repeated changes may incur additional fees.

6. Sizing & Measurements

Most items (such as paws or tails) are one-size-fits-all.
Fursuit heads require accurate measurements. Customers are responsible for providing correct measurements using the provided measuring guide in “resources”.
VapourMutts is not responsible for fit issues caused by incorrect measurements; adjustments can be made if discussed, potentially for an additional fee.

7. Shipping & Delivery

VapourMutts ships internationally.
A valid shipping address must be provided and will be confirmed before shipment.
VapourMutts is not responsible for shipping costs, customs fees, border fees, or import taxes.
Once an item has been shipped to the confirmed address, responsibility for delivery transfers to the shipping carrier. VapourMutts is not responsible for delays or losses caused by the carrier, but will assist with claims when possible.

Shipping insurance is recommended where available.
Local pickup may be available for customers in the YYC area, to be discussed privately.

8. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

VapourMutts retains all rights to the artwork and products created unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
VapourMutts may post completed work publicly and use it as examples or for promotional purposes.
You may not claim VapourMutts’ work as your own and must give proper credit when posting.
VapourMutts’ work may not be used for commercial or profit-making purposes (including prints, stickers, merchandise, etc.) unless explicitly agreed upon in advance. Additional fees or contracts may apply.
You may not repost artwork you do not own or have purchased without permission from both the owner and VapourMutts.

All artwork, illustrations, and other content displayed on this website are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws and are owned by the website owner unless otherwise stated.

You may not use, copy, scrape, download, reproduce, or distribute any content from this website without explicit prior written permission.

You may not use any content from this website for the purpose of training, fine-tuning, developing, or operating artificial intelligence systems, machine learning models, neural networks, or similar technologies, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes, without prior explicit written permission from the website owner.

Any unauthorized use of content for AI or machine learning purposes is strictly prohibited.

9. NSFW Content

NSFW artwork and products may only be purchased by those 18+ with a valid government-issued ID.
VapourMutts reserves the right to refuse any NSFW request.

This website may include content of a sexual, erotic, or otherwise adult nature, including but not limited to illustrated or artistic depictions intended for mature audiences. Such content may not be suitable for all users. Viewer discretion is advised.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your access to the nsfw page and its content complies with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

The website owner assumes no responsibility for users who misrepresent their age or access the content in violation of applicable laws.

This website does not permit or host any content that: Depicts or involves minors in any sexual or suggestive manner; Depicts non-consensual acts, sexual violence, or exploitation; Includes bestiality, human trafficking, or any other illegal activity; Violates applicable laws or regulations. Any such content will be removed immediately, and access may be terminated without notice.

By accessing NSFW or adult sections of this website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this section of the Terms of Service.

10. Character & Design Sales

Designs created by VapourMutts may not be used for artwork depicting illegal activities, including but not limited to bestiality or pedophilia.
VapourMutts is not responsible for the actions of others if this rule is violated after purchase.
Designs may be used in SFW and NSFW artwork unless stated otherwise.
Designs may not be duplicated or copied.
Designs may be regifted, traded, or resold, but may not be resold for more than the original purchase price unless additional value has been added.
VapourMutts does not own colour palettes; colour picking is allowed.

11. Inactivity & Termination

Prolonged lack of communication (15 days or more) may result in termination of the commission without refund.
VapourMutts reserves the right to terminate a commission if these Terms of Service are violated.

12. Changes to These Terms

VapourMutts reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time.
The version in effect at the time of commission will apply.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
